"I just felt like, for me personally, I felt like it was the right time. I knew where I wanted to go. I was going to other colleges and they were telling me great things and the facilities looked great at these other schools, but I knew all along that Rutgers was the school for me," Watts told StateOfRutgers.com.
Watts says he is excited to continue his football career while also continuing his families' legacy of athletic excellence at Rutgers. The junior's mother and stepfather both ran track at Rutgers and that was no small factor in his choice.
