Chris Ash started his third week as Rutgers football head coach by making one of his most important assistant coach hires.
Bill Busch, who was at Ohio State as a defensive quality control coach this season following stints coaching the secondary at Wisconsin and Nebraska, is the new Rutgers defensive backs coach, the school announced Tuesday.
“Bill is a veteran Big Ten coach and I am fortunate to have him at Rutgers,” Ash said in a news release. “Bill brings with him a wealth of experience and has built a reputation as a great recruiter. We worked together at Ohio State and he knows our defense and how I want the secondary to be coached.
