If college basketball has March Madness, college wrestling has the march through March.
It begins Saturday and Sunday, with the Big Ten Championships at Alumni Hall on the campus of Indiana University.
Defending Big Ten and NCAA champion Penn State is one of two teams with a pre-seeded wrestler in all 10 weight classes. Wisconsin is the other. Ohio State, Minnesota and Nebraska each have nine pre-seeded wrestlers.
Nebraska and Rutgers qualified 10 for the 2016 NCAA Championships out of the Big Ten tournament.
Six of the top seeds are returning Big Ten champions, including Nathan Tomasello (who bumps up from 125 to 133 pounds), Anthony Ashnault (141), Zain Retherford (149), Isaiah Martinez (who bumps up from 157 to 165), Bo Nickal (who bumps up from 174 to 184) and Kyle Snyder (285).
