If Rutgers coach Chris Ash thinks like his friend and mentor Bret Bielema, then he might be a proponent of a scheduling idea that would shake up college football.
Bielema, the Arkansas coach, pitched the idea of a Big Ten/SEC Challenge similar to the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in basketball.
That would consist of 14 non-conference games with one of the two leagues constantly fighting for supremacy officially declared an annual winner.
