After three straight last-place finishes in each of its first three years in the conference, Rutgers remains the popular pick for last in the conference even though the team appears to be much improved.
The unofficial poll was run by The Athletic because the Big Ten does not release a coach's poll like many other top leagues, including the Big East. NJ Advance Media did not cast a ballot.
