No one would argue that the Big Ten’s East Division is far superior to the West. That’s been true since the divisions were formed in 2014, and it seems to be especially true this fall.
Consider five East Division teams — Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, Maryland — have unblemished conference records while only two West Division squads — Nebraska, Wisconsin — are still unbeaten in league play.
