Rutgers has lost by a combined 136-0 to the Big Ten's top-2 teams -- Michigan (78-0) and Ohio State (58-0) -- but it was only three weeks ago that the Scarlet Knights played competitively with a middle-of-the-pack Iowa team. Their resume is slightly better than Illinois thanks to a win over a FBS foe (New Mexico), hence the reason for their spot ahead of the Illini. But this week will settle any debate over which team is the worst in the Big Ten (and maybe among Power-5 Conference teams, too).
On the heels of consecutive losses, the Gophers will have a new quarterback starter this week against Maryland as junior Conor Rhoda has been tapped to replace Mitch Leidner.
