One Big Ten mess cleaned itself up, but another still needs attention.
Wisconsin clinched the Big Ten West Division title Friday night when Nebraska lost to Iowa in the first game of the final weekend of the regular season.
It is still possible that Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota could wind up in a four-way tie for the West Division title -- if Wisconsin loses to Minnesota on Saturday -- with identical 6-3 conference records.
Wisconsin would win the four-way tiebreaker, but the Badgers are not willing to settle for that route into the Big Ten Championship Game because a third loss would end the dream of a College Football Playoff berth.
