I can’t think of any other conference in the nation that has so much parity from top to bottom. That can be viewed as both a positive and a negative, I guess, but it already seems like there will be very few freebies in Big Ten conference play this season.
The upcoming week shifts back to the non-conference portion of the schedule and features a lighter workload overall, with 10 of the 14 teams playing only one game.
Remember, these rankings are based on the current strength of the teams, not necessarily where I expect them to finish.
