Head coach Chris Ash has pledged a three-man starting quarterback competition this summer between incumbent Gio Rescigno, a redshirt senior, sophomore Johnathan Lewis and true freshman Artur Sitkowski. And while Rescigno will take the first snap with the first team, according to Ash, Sitkowski begins camp as the overwhelming favorite to come out on top.
The Old Bridge native enrolled in January and was clearly the best quarterback during spring practice, capped by an exciting (if somewhat uneven) performance in the Scarlet-White Game that sent a jolt into the fanbase.
