For Top 25 poll voters, bowl season has a funny way of letting you know whether the ballot you submitted throughout the season was sound or was way off base. Like the majority of Associated Press Top 25 voters, I had four Big Ten teams ranked in the top 10 for the second half of the college football season.
In my final regular-season Top 25 ballot, I pegged four teams (Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan) in the top 8 and two others (Iowa, Nebraska) in the 20s.
And then Big Ten teams combined to go 3-7 in bowl games.
