Rutgers has long found its quarterback for 2019 in Barringer's (Newark, N.J.) Zamar Wise -- commited on Sept. 30, 2017 -- who has recently developed a better relationship with the new staff additions, namely offensive coordinator John McNulty. However, the staff has expressed to Wise its intentions of taking two quarterbacks with the emergence of Artur Sitkowski, and the quarterback room still sorting itself out.
When a new offensive coordinator comes to town, you can usually tell the direction of the offense by the type of quarterback recruits a team offers post-hire. And most of those offers have gone to pro-style types with large frames and big arms.
