PISCATAWAY -- While most of his Rutgers wrestling teammates were treating bumps and bruises after last season, heavyweight Razohnn Gross scratched an itch.
Gross joined the football team for spring camp on a tryout basis, getting a chance to rewrite his ending on the gridiron. Before he was a Rutgers wrestler, Gross was a three-year walk-on who was dismissed from the football program in September 2015 but remained a student.
When first-year offensive coordinator Jerry Kill decided to reincorporate fullback into an offense that had phased it out, Gross' friends on the football team urged him to return.
