AD Pat Hobbs Confirms Chris Ash Will Remain Rutgers Football Head Coach

Following a hard fought 14-10 loss to Michigan State on Saturday, athletic director Pat Hobbs broke his silence on Chris Ash’s future, insuring the following statement, which was tweeted by NJ Advance Media’s James Kratch.

Here is the full view of the statement that Kratch tweeted:

Ash just completed his third season in charge of the program, finishing 2018 winless in conference play and with a 1-11 record overall, the worst finish for Rutgers since the 2002 season. There has been plenty of speculation on whether Ash would receive a fourth year or not, but Hobbs has now confirmed he is returning.
