On the same weekend that the NJSIAA hosted its annual state sectional championship games, some prominent New Jersey high football alums were scoring touchdowns Saturday on the nation stage.
Glassboro's Corey Clement scored a first-quarter 67-yard rushing touchdown in the Big Ten Championship Game to help Wisconsin jump out to a 14-0 lead over Penn State. Clement also had two fumbles recovered by his teammates.

Southern Regional's Mike Gesicki -- a former Star-Ledger State Player of the Year in boys volleyball -- responded with an acrobatic 33-yard touchdown catch for Penn State.
