PISCATAWAY — Rutgers hits the home stretch of spring practice this week. The team will hold three practices (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) before taking the field at High Point Solutions Stadium for the Scarlet-White game on Friday night.
The team is coming off its second intrasqaud scrimmage of the spring on Saturday, which featured equal reps for quarterbacks Chris Laviano and Hayden Rettig. Rutgers coach Kyle Flood said the quarterback competition will extend into training camp, but it will still be the main focus of the spring game.
Flood doesn't expect any changes to the practice routine this week.
