PISCATAWAY — Despite Wednesday's gloomy news that 2016 quarterback prospect Jarrett Guarantano chose Tennessee over Rutgers, the sun is shining in Piscataway on Thursday morning.
While landing Guarantano would have been a major score for Kyle Flood, the Rutgers coach has more pressing concerns right now. His team is nearly 2/3 of the way through spring practice and a second scrimmage is on tap for Saturday.
There are plenty of depth chart decisions that need to be made for the 2015 season that will occupy Flood's mind as he sets his sights on a different quarterback of the future.
