In a major surprise on Friday, class of 2018 Rutgers pledge Mac McClung announced he was decommitting from the program.
McClung was just on campus last weekend for the start of practice and the MidKnight Madness event. He was joined by fellow commits, 4-star guard Montez Mathis, and 3-star wing, Ron Harper Jr. The news of McClung having a change of heart is surprising. However, he has risen to internet fame this summer with his highlight reel dunks and perhaps he is starting to receive more interest from other high major programs than before.
