Kerman (Ca.) quarterback Sean Chambers has decommitted from Rutgers, he told NJ.com Monday afternoon.
Whether it was Rutgers' slow start to the season, the emergence of freshman Johnathan Lewis, the addition of highly-touted class of 2019 quarterback Zamar Wise, or any other reason, the 6-3, 215-pound three-star wouldn't reveal.
"It just wasn't the right fit for me," he said.
However, Chambers does admit to have been feeling this way "for about a couple weeks now."
Leading up to the Scarlet Knights' bout against the Buckeyes, Rutgers head football coach Chris Ash received a huge recruiting win, landing a player who could potentially be the future at quarterback.
