2017 NCAA Wrestling Championships: LIVE updates and results from the finals and medal rounds

ST. LOUIS -- Take the morning off.

It might be every employee's dream to hear from a boss, but the 20 finalists at the NCAA Wrestling Championships have earned their time off the mat Saturday morning at Scottrade Center.

When they return Saturday night, a national championship will be on the line.

NCAA Wrestling Championships are underway, with first-round bouts complete, setting up the initial wrestleback brackets and the second-roud bouts with a berth in the quarterfinals on the line for top wrestlers from Rutgers, Princeton, Rider, the Big Ten and around the nation
