BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Led by conference champions Nathan Tomasello, Bo Jordan, Kollin Moore and Kyle Snyder, Ohio State captured unseated Penn State as the winner of the Big Ten Championships.
Ohio State entered Sunday with a big lead in the team standings but Penn State erased nearly its entire deficit entering the 174-pound weight class final where both teams had a participant. Jordan topped Mark Hall for the first of three titles gained at the four heaviest weights.
It is the fourth time that the Buckeyes won at least a share of the tournament crown, regaining it after a one-year hiatus.
