When Clayton was recruited there was always a thought that he could eventually move from safety to linebacker. Ash didn’t waste any time moving the 6-foot-1, 217-pound sophomore to strong side linebacker, which is a hybrid linebacker/safety position in Rutgers’ 4-3 defense.
