PISCATAWAY -- If you were to create a recipe for how to lose a winnable game, the ingredients would include five turnovers, two botched fourth-down snaps and allowing a non-offensive touchdown.

That's exactly the combination of mistakes Rutgers put together last season in an ugly 24-7 loss to Illinois. And it's still a haunting memory as the Big Ten teams prepare for a rematch Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Illinois.

"We definitely missed our opportunity last year," cornerback Isaiah Wharton said. "That was definitely a winnable game for us.
