PISCATAWAY -- Rutgers and Michigan have the same conference record entering Week 9 of the college football season.
Who saw that coming?
Rutgers (3-4, 2-2) is coming off back-to-back Big Ten wins for the first time in since joining its new home in 2014. The Scarlet Knights backed up a dominating performance against Illinois by making just enough plays to squeeze out a win against Purdue.
Michigan (5-2, 2-2) slipped from inside the Associated Press Top 10 to outside of the Top 25 courtesy of two losses in a three-game span, with an unimpressive overtime win against Indiana in the middle.
