This week was the trade deadline in a good percentage of leagues and this trade deadline season was different from most others. How so, you ask? This season we have seen more trades for depth rather than for top players than we have in season’s past. We all know why this is: COVID. We keep seeing it week after week as players are put on the COVID-IR. I’d still probably gamble and go for the better player, quality over quantity, but I certainly understand those who want to make sure they are covered just in case they lose a player or two to COVID.
