USC Frosh RB Got Sick Because He Wasn’t Eating Enough Burgers and Texas BBQ

USC freshman running back Ronald Jones II is from Texas and had a hard time getting adjusted to the regional Southern California cuisine, but it’s not what you think.

Jones told Reign of Troy he felt “dizzy and dazed” for a few days during camp because of the stark change in his dietary habits. Naturally, switching to lean proteins had a negative effect on him:

“I was just feeling a little dizzy and dazed for a couple of days, I don’t know what exactly was going on,” Jones, who had six carries for 86 yards and his first collegiate touchdown in the Trojans’ opener, said.
