Tom Seaver Dead At 75 After Battle With Dementia

Tom Seaver -- one of the greatest Mets players of all time -- died Monday after a battle with dementia. He was 75.

Seaver passed away at his home in Calistoga, California surrounded by his family, this according to the New York Daily News, which confirmed Seaver's passing with the pitcher's family.

Seaver was a part of the legendary "Miracle Mets" of 1969 ... which went on to win the World Series over the Baltimore Orioles.

Seaver played in the majors from 1968 to 1986 and 13-time All-Star and 3-time Cy Young winner.
