Steven Adams Questionable Sunday

Steven Adams is questionable to play Wednesday in the New Orleans Pelicans’ matchup with the Boston Celtics.

Adams is dealing with a sprained ankle, suffered during a 126-124 loss to the Portland Trailblazers on Feb. 17. Adams played nine minutes, scoring two points with three rebounds before leaving the game.

Starting in 27 games for the Pelicans this season, he has averaged 28 minutes, scoring eight points, nine rebounds, and two assists per game.

Expect Willy Hernangomez to start if Adams cannot play. Hernangomez started for Adams in the 132-114 loss to the Phoenix Suns Friday, playing 23 minutes and scoring nine points with 13 rebounds and one assist.
