The New York Islanders continue to ride the hot-hand as Semyon Varlamov is the confirmed starter for Game 4 against the Boston Bruins. Varlamov opened the playoffs in the starters’ crease before ceding it to Ilya Sorokin. Sorokin had a rough outing in Game 2, allowing Semyon Varlamov to re-assert himself as the starter with a strong performance in Game 3.
