Report: James Wiseman Diagnosed With Torn Meniscus

Wiseman suffered a right knee injury during Saturday’s game vs. the Rockets, which ultimately caused him to leave early. Now, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Wiseman suffered a torn meniscus in that contest. There’s currently no timetable for his return, but expect him to be sidelined for an extended period. The Warriors used the No. 2 overall pick on Wiseman in the 2020 Draft, and so they will be cautious with him in a year where they’re not true title contenders.

With Wiseman out of the lineup, Kevon Looney will likely move back into the starting lineup.
