According to the latest NBA injury report, both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard will miss Wednesday’s road game against the Pistons.
This will be the third-straight game that Leonard will miss as he continues to battle a sore right foot. The good news is that Leonard did make the trip and traveled with the team, so he’s probably closer to returning to the team.
As for George, his absence looks more like load management, with Wednesday’s game being the second game in as many days and third in four nights of a back-to-back. The Clippers probably feel they can handle the Pistons without their two stars, so look for former Duke guard Luke Kennard to get plenty of touches.
