O.J. Simpson has belatedly fired back at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas ... suing the hotel claiming it defamed him by banning him in 2017 after falsely accusing him of being drunk and disruptive.
The incident in question went down in November, 2017 ... just weeks after he was released from prison. Simpson had been frequenting the bars at the hotel and hotel sources told TMZ he was booted after he allegedly got angry at one of the bars and was allegedly drunk when he broke glasses.
Simpson insists in the lawsuit he was not drunk, he was not belligerent and did not break any glasses.
