Ohio State TE/FB coach Tim Hinton graduated college in 1982 and is not in the best shape of his life. Yes, the NFL is far, far in his rear-view mirror. But a man can dream.
Hinton was the subject of a hilarious, short mockumentary Ohio State just released, in which he partook in a “pro day,” valiantly attempting the same drills as prospective NFL draftees — the long jump, vertical, three-cone drill and 40-yard-dash among them.
The production value and self-seriousness is what makes the video great. It would fail as satire if it was anything less than completely earnest, but it hits the mark.
