North Carolina senator Richard Burr couldn't have been more supportive of the Tar Heels when we saw him out on Capitol Hill yesterday ... saying, "Both teams should be extremely proud,"
He even talked about UNC legend Michael Jordan and how he could probably sympathize with the basketball team after the heartbreaking loss to Villanova this week.
