The Brooklyn Nets will be close to full strength on Friday when they take on the Charlotte Hornets as neither Kevin Durant nor Blake Griffin is listed on the NBA injury report.
Both players missed Brooklyn’s last game against the Sixers due to injury management. Durant’s absence was surprising given that the game was essentially a battle for first place in the division. However, playing Durant would not have been following the training regiment they devised.
“The way it was designed,” said Steve Nash about Kevin Durant’s ramp-up. “Is to have 48 hours between high-intensity physical output.
