9:04 AM PT -- Mike Goforth, Division Superintendent of Wise County Schools, issued a statement following the Virginia State Police’s recent update ... saying the district will fully cooperate with law enforcement in the Travis Turner case.
"Wise County Public Schools is aware that law enforcement has filed charges against a staff member who has been on administrative leave," Goforth said.
The individual remains on leave and is not permitted on school property or to have contact with students."
