The lowly Ottawa Senators will not have their starting goalie available on Saturday for their matinee matchup with Winnipeg. Matt Murray left Game 1 against the Jets on Thursday after just two periods. It’s uncertain how serious the upper-body injury is as the team will need further medical evaluation. Right now, there’s no clear timetable for his return so consider him day-to-day. It’s been a disappointing first season with Ottawa for Murray, which pretty much could be said of the entire team. The Sens have won just two games in regulation this season and are dead last in the league with only five points.
