The Atlanta Journal- Constitution reports Atlanta Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna was arrested and charged with aggressive assault strangulation and misdemeanor battery after a domestic violence incident at his home in Sandy Springs, G.A.

Officers responded to a 911 call Saturday afternoon and reportedly witnessed Ozuna strangling his wife and hitting her with a cast, which was recently placed on his two broken fingers. He is being held without bond in the Fulton County (G.A) jail.
Ozuna was placed on the 10-day injured list after he dislocated his pinky and middle fingers while sliding into third base in a May 25, 3-1 win against the Boston Red Sox.
