Wake Forest and Nike unveiled a new set of football uniforms on Tuesday: home blacks, road whites and an alternate set with black tops and gold pants.
The starkest change is the jersey sleeves, which according to the release have a connection to the school:
Drawn from the University Shield and the wrought-iron architectural details that punctuate the campus, the graphic forms a stylized “W.” Its arching branches are suggestive of growth and collaboration — keys to success as Head Coach Dave Clawson enters his second season with the Demon Deacons.
