Steve Popper of Newsday Sports reports Lonzo Ball will miss Wednesday’s matchup between the New Orleans Pelicans and the New York Knicks due to a lingering hip injury.
Ball last played in the Pelicans Apr. 7 139-111 loss to the Brooklyn Nets, playing 28 minutes, scoring 15 points and three assists. He missed seven games in March due to the injury as well. Ball has started 41 games this season, averaging 32 minutes, 14 points, four rebounds, and six assists per game.
Expect Zion Williamson to see an uptick in production with Ball missing time tonight.
