Laurent Brossoit will start for the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday

Laurent Brossoit will start in goal for the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday, NHL.com reports.

The game versus the Anaheim Ducks is the second one in two nights, and seeing as though Robin Lehner started the 5-2 loss to the Boston Bruins on Thursday, it was a foregone conclusion that Brossoit would get the call on Friday. Brossoit is 9-6-3 this season with a 2.69 goals-against average, and a .903 save percentage in 20 games. The former Winnipeg Jet has lost his past four starts for the Golden Knights.

Vegas has struggled with injuries this season and currently holds the last playoff spot in the Western Conference by one point over the Dallas Stars.
