The regular starting backcourt for the Raptors will not be on the floor on Tuesday night. Kyle Lowry will get a routine maintenance day and miss Toronto’s first leg of a back-to-back when they meet the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday. Lowry should be well-rested to take the floor for the Dinos’ Wednesday night game against the San Antonio Spurs. Fred VanVleet will also be out against the Hawks, missing his sixth straight game with a hip injury. VanVleet hasn’t played since he came down awkwardly on a three-point shot attempt against the Golden State Warriors almost two weeks ago.
