We’re now down to eight teams that remain in the NBA playoffs after the Clippers punched their ticket to the next round following a 126-111 win on Sunday over the Dallas Mavericks. That means we’ll no longer have any triple-headers for the remainder of the season. But there will be plenty of storylines to focus on as there will be a new NBA champion this season after the Suns bounced out the Lakers out in six games.
Phoenix will now take on Denver with that series getting underway on Monday night. Frankly, I’m more interested in taking a wait-and-see approach with the Suns, especially considering Chris Paul’s shoulder injury.
