Randle received 98 first-place votes, with Jerami Grant of the Detroit Pistons, who finished second in voting, receiving two first-place votes.
An instrumental piece in the Knicks claiming the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference, Randle averaged 38 minutes, 24 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in the regular season, playing in 71 of the team’s 72 games. With a 29.3% usage rate, he led the team. In his first season with the team, the 2019-20 season, he started 64 games, averaging 32 minutes, 19 points, nine rebounds and three assists per game.
