Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez -- and the other 2 people killed in a Sept. boat crash -- smelled of alcohol when their bodies were pulled from the water ... officials say.
Officials have released the search warrant affidavit into the Sept. 25th incident -- which says divers had to recover all 3 bodies ... and they all had a strong odor of alcohol.
Officials have not confirmed Fernandez was the driver -- but note that most of his friends suspect he was because he had just met one of the other passengers .
