Mounties Canadian Football League officials are investigating a report that Johnny Manziel participated in a workout with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Florida. Such a move would have been against league’s rules, as Manziel’s negotiating rights, believe it or not, are the property of Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The report, from Canadian site 3DownNation, says that the workout occurred just before the Senior Bowl on Jan. 27. The report is still up on the site, despite the Roughriders, and Manziel himself, vigorously denying that any such workout occurred. TMZ:
