At least, that’s the message of your team’s superstar PG John Wall. Despite a 98-86 victory for DC, the 25 year-old All Star displayed annoyance, mostly in jest, about how the Wiz faithful seemed more excited about free chicken sandwiches from Chick-Fil-A than Washington’s victory that night.
Fresh off an appearance in the NBA All-Star Game in which Wall scored 22 points, the Kentucky alum picked up right where he left off, matching the point tally while adding 8 rebounds and assists each. Naturally, the performance earned him and interview with CSN Mid-Atlantic sideline reporter Chris Miller, who questioned Wall about a team-run promotion that gives away free editions of Chick-Fil-A’s renowned sandwich if an opponent misses both free throws in a 4th quarter trip to the foul line, which was achieved when Aron Baynes bricked two in the final frame of the contest.
