It’s game three of the NBA Play-In Tournament with LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets visiting Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks.
The Hawks and Hornets both had identical records of 43-39 this season, but the Hawks ultimately won the tiebreaker for home-court advantage and that’s no small thing. The Hawks were a much better home team than a road team this year, where they boasted a record of 27-14, compared to Charlotte’s road record of 21-20.
