Atlanta Hawks’ fans got some bad news on Wednesday as The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports that De’Andre Hunter’s season is over after opting to undergo meniscus surgery.

Hunter missed Atlanta’s first two games in the second round against the Sixers with swelling in his right knee. An MRI later revealed a small tear of his lateral meniscus.
This will be the second surgery on his knee just this season alone. After playing 63 games last year, the knee injury limited Hunter to just 23 games this season.
