Washington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel was not a participant in Tuesday’s mandatory minicamp due to a minor groin injury he had suffered a week ago.

Samuel had felt a “twinge” in his groin prior to last Wednesday’s practice but is something that’s considered minor, per John Keim of ESPN.com. He was likely held out by Rivera for precautionary reasons and should see a return to the field soon. The former Ohio State Buckeye has missed just four games over the last three seasons with no hamstring problems since 2017.
The former Panther will likely be the number two option in Washington behind Terry McLaurin for new quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.
